We recently successfully completed a crawl space encapsulation project in Scarborough, Ontario using our patented CleanSpace system. Same includes a drainage matting placed on dirt to facilitate the channeling of infiltrated water to the discharge lines. In addition, a durable and waterproof vapor barrier is placed on top of the drainage matting. It is designed to seal off the area from moisture, pests, and outside air. Faced with an old and noisy sump pump in their basement, a client in Scarborough soke our help for a long-term solution. During the inspection, our specialist, thoroughly explained the risks associated with a malfunctioning sump pump, including the potential for basement flooding, as infiltrating water would not be properly discharged outside the house. To address this issue, we recommended the installation of our SuperSump sump pump system, along with the UltraSump backup pump that remains operational even in the event of a power outage. The system was then installed by our foreman, Colin, and connected to a discharge line equipped with our patented IceGuard system, which protects the discharge line from freezing under extreme cold conditions.
