The home's stone foundation and crawl space access hatch allowed cold, damp air to circulate beneath the house, creating uncomfortable living conditions while excess moisture threatened the health of the crawl space.

After a thorough inspection by one of our System Design Specialists, we recommended a complete crawl space encapsulation and structural support solution designed to improve comfort, control moisture, and protect the home's foundation.

Our production team began by removing debris from the crawl space to create a clean working environment. Next, we installed SmartDrain®, providing a reliable way to monitor and manage any future water entering beneath the encapsulation system. Drainage Matting was then placed across the crawl space floor to create a drainage layer beneath the vapor barrier while helping protect it from the uneven stone surface.

Once the drainage layer was in place, we installed our CleanSpace® vapor barrier to seal the crawl space from ground moisture and outside humidity. To further improve the environment, we installed the SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, which continuously controls humidity levels to help prevent mold, musty odors, and poor air quality. Finally, SmartJack® support posts were installed to reinforce areas of the floor system requiring additional structural support, helping improve the stability of the home.
