Challenge
A homeowner in Phelpston was experiencing ongoing crawl space issues caused by excessive moisture and high humidity levels. Solution

The first step was installing the CleanSpace® encapsulation system throughout the crawl space. This durable vapor barrier covers exposed earth surfaces to help prevent ground moisture from entering the space and creating humid conditions. To improve water management beneath the encapsulation system, CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed to provide a pathway for water movement and help direct moisture toward the drainage and pumping system.
To address energy loss and condensation concerns, SilverGlo™ insulation panels were installed along the crawl space walls. These insulation panels help improve thermal efficiency, reduce heat transfer, and contribute to better moisture control by limiting condensation on foundation surfaces.

Finally, SmartJack® support posts were installed to reinforce and stabilize weakened floor joists. These adjustable steel supports help restore structural stability, reduce floor deflection, and provide lasting support for the home's flooring system.
