Comp: $80,000 Base + Personal Commission + Team Overrides ($150k - $220k+ OTE)
Reporting to: Owner/CEO
The Mission
Toronto Basement Systems is on a rapid trajectory to $10M revenue. We have the leads and the production capacity; now we need the leader! We are looking for a powerhouse salesperson to lead our front-end operations. You will spend 60% of your time closing high-ticket foundation and waterproofing deals and 40% of your time mentoring, training, and managing a team (growing to five) Sales Design Specialists.
The Roles & Responsibilities
The Player: Lead by example. You will handle our highest-value leads and maintain a 45%+ closing ratio.
The Coach: Conduct weekly "Film Reviews" (reviewing recorded sales calls or CRM notes) and ride-alongs with the junior reps to sharpen their skills
The Analyst: Monitor the team’s "Sales Health" (Lead-to-Appt, Appt-to-Close, and Average Ticket) within our software
The Strategist: Work directly with the Owner to refine pricing, financing offers, and "Toronto-specific" sales scripts
The Ideal Profile
Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of high-ticket, in-home sales experience (Foundation, HVAC, Roofing, Water Conditioning or Remodelling).
Leadership DNA: You’ve either managed a team before or were the "top dog" that everyone else went to for advice
Tech Mastery: You understand that "if it isn't in the CRM, it didn't happen." You use data to manage, not just "vibes."
Local Expertise: You understand the unique structural challenges of Toronto’s diverse housing stock (from 100-year-old masonry to modern poured concrete)
Why Join Us Now?
The Override: You don't just get paid on your sales; you get a percentage of the entire sales team's revenue. As the team grows to $10M, your income grows exponentially.
Future Stake: We are building a management layer. The person in this role is the natural candidate for Director of Sales as we expand across Southern Ontario.
Unlimited Leads: Our marketing machine is already producing 8+ leads/week per rep
We have been voted #1 Canadian Dealer at the Contractor Nation Annual Convention since 2018.
